The system resolution is 0.2mm. This has been confirmed by actual measurements on a test rig in the Tech workshop, and is greater than the accuracy of the mechanics of the press it is fitted to.

There is no minimum running speed. The system will start to look for marks as as soon as there is print on the paper, and is usually positively adjusting within five 'ticks'. If there is a slow enough ramp up, it can lock at low speed and follow up to the maximum press running speed. Settings stored within the computer while running at any speed, will be valid for all speeds.

There is only one simple and uncluttered running screen. This shows up to four ribbons in a real-time display, enabling marks to be easily seen wherever they happen to be on the web. There is clear status information, and only a few buttons are needed for full control.

This has now completed trials with one of our customers, and the machine operators are very pleased with it.
